Job Opportunity: Lead Civil and Structural Engineering Work

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the execution of civil and structural engineering work for a global business unit or project. This role requires expertise in designing, developing, modifying and evaluating civil/structural components and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement detailed plans and schedules for civil and structural engineering work, including the preparation of original designs layouts, details, drawings and specifications for structures, building, roadways, railroads etc.
  • Design and develop civil/structural components and processes utilizing relevant engineering department procedures, design standards and guides.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate structural elements such as steel, wood, masonry, and concrete based on load or stress requirements.
  • Analyze problems with conflicting design requirements and propose possible solutions.

Education and Experience Requirements:

This role requires a bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience. Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline. Career-level position within field.
