UGL's Fuels and Energy East business is on the lookout for a talented Civil Structural Engineer to lead and innovate across brownfield and asset maintenance projects within the fuel terminals and petrochemical sectors.Reporting to the Lead Civil Structural Engineer you will work with a team of engineers and designers to provide safe, reliable, and efficient technical expertise to the business.This hybrid role is based in our Brisbane , Southbank office.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide civil and structural engineering design, ensuring top-quality deliverables that align with project and business needs.Comprehensive design and analysis of tanks and tank foundations to API650 would be highly desirableDesign of piling foundationsDevelop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges, underpinned by thorough technical analyses and adherence to all applicable codes and standards.Utilise software tools like Spacegass, Robot, 12D, and Civil 3D for design and analysis tasks.Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members, maintaining robust professional relationships.About You6+ years of engineering design exposure, particularly in theresource, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.Comprehensive experience in the design of piling foundations.Expertise in piled tank foundations, bulk storage tank design and general structures & foundations e.g. pipe bridge, pipe support, access platform, wharf pipe support modification.Hold a tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural EngineeringRegistered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and RPEQ qualified, would be highly regardedExhibit strong communication skills with a customer-focused approachWhat We OfferFlexible work arrangementsCompany paid Salary Continuance InsuranceDiscounted Private Health Insurance.Dedicated wellness program & rewardsExclusive staff discounts across various categoriesCareer pathways within UGL and the larger CIMIC GroupAbout UsUGL Pty Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering, construction and maintenance services.
