Senior Health and Safety Manager

We are looking for a Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to support the implementation of our global health, safety and wellbeing framework and ensure compliance across our operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies
- Supporting incident reporting and investigations
- Facilitating risk management and hazard identification activities
- Coordinating audits and compliance programs
- Leading health and safety committee meetings and stakeholder engagement
- Managing injury reporting, workers compensation and return-to-work processes
- Supporting wellbeing initiatives aligned with our HSW strategy
- Delivering inductions, emergency drills and training
- Preparing internal and external reports and documentation
- Providing technical advice and coaching to leaders
- Fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Formal qualifications in Health and Safety at Work
- Experience in a similar role – ideally within retail or a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A strategic mindset and genuine desire to make a difference
- Experience with MS Office and safety databases
- A current driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel between sites
