Environment Management Lead

Job Summary:
This pivotal role supports environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, and stakeholder engagement across a major infrastructure project.
As a Senior Sustainability Specialist, you will lead the development, implementation, and control of project environmental plans.
- Develop and maintain awareness of safety, health, and environment hazards and associated risks.
- Eliminate or minimize those risks by implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Understand and effectively undertake safety, health, and environment accountabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all day-to-day liaisons with clients in respect of environmental management.
- Liaise with managers and subcontractor organizations as required.
- Identify and obtain relevant approvals and licenses from relevant authorities and government.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification relevant to the field of operation of the position.
- At least 5 years construction experience in the related field.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship skills.
- Sound knowledge of environmental legislation and requirements.
