Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced nurse to fill a leadership role as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager in the Mental Health Inpatient Unit. This is a fantastic opportunity for a registered nurse with a postgraduate qualification in mental health to make a real difference in the lives of consumers and staff.

About the Role

  • Provide clinical leadership across the unit, supporting best-practice care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve high-quality patient outcomes
  • Contribute to strategic planning, rostering, staffing, recruitment, and performance management to ensure effective service delivery
  • Lead a portfolio aligned with service improvement, innovation, and quality outcomes, fostering professional development in junior staff and maintaining clinical excellence

Your Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered Nurse with a postgraduate qualification in Mental Health or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years post-registration experience or current Clinical Nurse classification, with a strong background in mental health nursing
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with cultural competency and commitment to inclusive practice, particularly with Aboriginal communities
