Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Disability Support Worker to join our team at Real Care Given.

About the Role
We provide REAL CARE at any given moment, empowering individuals to live their best lives. Our goal is to enhance the well-being and independence of our clients by offering a wide range of disability support services.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalised support to our participants, assisting with personal care, household chores, transportation, and community engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and their families to build capacity and achieve their personal goals.
  • Contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive environment, promoting the well-being and independence of our clients.

Requirements

  • Experience in disability support work, aged care, or a similar field.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and their families.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a genuine interest in improving the lives of others.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  • First Aid and CPR certifications, or a willingness to obtain them.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Bonus points for holding a Cert III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Care, or similar qualifications.
