Reliability is key to ensuring the smooth operation of complex equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing a reliability SCADA system for manufacturing critical components.

As a reliability expert, your responsibilities will include investigating and owning design improvements for tooling with a focus on electrical/automation. You will also lay out new industrial control panels and create schematics, develop engineering solutions to failures on critical equipment, generate aesthetically simple screens for machinery, and conduct Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) to drive proactive reliability programs.

You will work closely with internal teams to ensure maintainability of design is incorporated into new equipment and develop maintenance and reliability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in an engineering discipline and at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or operations.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A deep understanding of mechanical, fluid, and electrical component functions
  • Experience using SQL and business intelligence tools like PowerBI
  • Ability to read and understand equipment schematics, P&ID, GD&T, and OEM manuals
  • A basic understanding of maintenance and reliability metrics: OEE, MTBF, MTTR
