Job Summary:

A Heavy Equipment Mechanic is required to work on a 7/7 roster, maintaining our fleet of CAT, Hitachi, and Liebherr machinery.

As a Mechanical Fitter/Heavy Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for completing repairs, maintenance, servicing, and component swap outs on site. With over 12 months of experience in a surface mining workshop environment, you will possess the necessary trade qualification and relevant tickets.

We offer an attractive salary of $85 per hour casually or $81 per hour permanent, along with DIDO arrangements including camp and meals. If you are a skilled and experienced mechanical fitter looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.

About Our Client:

Our client is a prominent company based in the Hunter Valley Region, approximately 50kms north-east of Mudgee. They require a reliable and skilled Mechanical Fitter/Heavy Diesel Fitter to join their team.

What You Will Be Doing:

The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team to:

  • Complete repairs, maintenance, servicing, and component swap outs on site
  • Work on a combination of CAT, Hitachi, and Liebherr machinery

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent
  • Working at Heights, EWP, Confined Space, and Forklift tickets
  • Over 12 months experience in a surface mining workshop environment
