Job Title: Head of Faculty

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced educational leader to join our team as Head of Faculty. This is a full-time, ongoing position that will play a vital role in driving excellence and innovation within our Secondary School.

About the Role

The Head of Faculty will be responsible for leading curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives, participating in delivering the vision of the College, and developing the quality of teaching and learning. The successful candidate will also be responsible for pedagogical leadership, staff management and development, and nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • 4 years Education degree
  • Current Queensland College of Teachers registration (or eligibility to apply)
  • Extensive knowledge of teaching strategies to achieve optimal learning outcomes for students
  • Excellent technological literacy
  • The ability to work collaboratively and energetically within a high-performing school culture
