Theatre Management Position

As a key leader in the Perioperative Department, you will be responsible for providing high-level leadership and operational management to ensure exceptional patient care and clinical performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Perioperative team
  • Apply advanced clinical judgement and ethical decision-making in perioperative care
  • Drive strategic planning, workforce development, and succession planning
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the hospital
  • Ensure compliance with clinical, safety, and organisational standards
  • Mentor and develop staff, encouraging ongoing learning and growth

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Tertiary qualifications in management, business, or a related discipline (desirable)
  • Expertise and/or postgraduate qualifications in perioperative nursing
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to influence and inspire others
  • Strong customer service focus, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving, analytical and report-writing abilities
