About the Role

As a Financial Planning Specialist at William Grant & Sons, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. Your primary responsibility will be to provide financial support and insights to our Sales and Marketing team, enabling them to drive optimal commercial outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with the Sales and Marketing team to prepare budgets, track actual spend, and review forecasts to ensure accurate planning and decision-making.
  2. Take ownership of measuring and evaluating marketing spend, providing detailed analyses on its effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.
  3. Support the Commercial Finance Manager in preparing budget and latest estimate forecasting cycles, ensuring the delivery of robust financial plans to Asia-Pacific and Group.
  4. Develop and maintain strong operational and commercial controls, documenting procedures and reviewing self-assessment results to deliver clean Internal and External audit reports.
  5. Involvement in key strategic business projects and initiatives, providing finance support and ad hoc analysis as required to drive value and efficiency across the business.
Your Background

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree equivalent to A level or above;
  • A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) certification;
  • Strong financial control background and experience working in a fast-paced commercial environment;
  • Excellent Excel skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
