Senior Civil Designer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer to lead our Water Service Coordinator team. As a key technical leader, you will manage and mentor designers, deliver high-quality water and sewer designs, and drive project success across urban and regional developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the design team.
  • Oversee end-to-end design and documentation of water and sewer infrastructure.
  • Ensure design compliance with industry standards.
  • Represent us in client meetings with architects, builders, developers, and contractors.
  • Support leadership and contribute to building team culture and new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate closely with drafters and other disciplines to deliver integrated, high-quality outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in civil engineering/design.
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar.
  • Sydney Water accreditation or significant project experience in this sector.
  • Strong Civil 3D and/or 12D software skills.
  • Proven leadership, project management, and client engagement capabilities.
