The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Financial Services business in Sydney or Melbourne as a Financial Planning Support Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with our Financial Planners to provide comprehensive administrative support and deliver a highly personable experience to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise between financial planners and customers to ensure seamless communication and support.
  • Support research and evaluation of data to inform advice and recommendations.
  • Assist in the preparation of customer meetings, including research, documentation, and record management.
  • Conduct existing product research to support our Advisers in providing expert advice.
  • Assist with customer queries and implement customer advice in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with different parts of the business to support business initiatives and contribute to a well-functioning team.

Requirements

  • A Diploma of Financial Services, Financial Planning (RG146 compliance) preferred.
  • Experience in a busy customer service or client-facing role.
  • Previous experience working in a Financial Planning or Advice business.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed rapport building and customer engagement skills.
  • Sound risk management thinking and practices.
