Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join our Buildings and Places team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking hydraulic design through calculations and analysis, providing solutions to clients on a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake hydraulic design through calculations and analysis using technical knowledge to provide solutions to clients.
  • Deliver projects and manage client relationships, consulting with various stakeholders on key project drivers to determine the best hydraulic solutions.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary Engineers on major projects and support junior engineers within the business.
  • Support the national Hydraulics team on a variety of projects, varying in size, to enhance your skill set and technical knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Relevant TAFE Qualification or Engineering Degree alongside RPEV (or working towards).
  • Ideally, 5 + years' experience preferably working within a consulting environment with exposure to Australian standards and codes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels of seniority on projects.
  • Full working knowledge of the MS Office suite with exposure to relevant industry software (Revit knowledge preferred, not essential).
