About the Role:We are seeking a Seasoned Mechanical Leader to oversee our team of skilled fitters based at our Beresfield facility. You will be responsible for effectively managing the team to deliver high-quality rebuilds in an efficient, effective and safe manner both at the service centre and on site as required.The role involves strategic planning, estimating, quoting, and executing workshop jobs and shutdown schedules to meet customer expectations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead the team to strip, inspect, repair and report on customer equipment, ensuring day-to-day tasks such as pre-shift meetings and mid/end shift toolbox talks are completed.
  • Train and mentor the team to ensure they operate in accordance with established workshop & site procedures.
  • Prepare and submit quotations for all customer activities and accurately process and invoice service orders in our system.
  • Carry out and complete site work within time expectations.
  • Plan all service work including monitoring labour resources, materials planning, job planning and allocation and contractor management.
  • Demonstrate unwavering commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
Requirements:
  • Trade certificate in mechanical fitting
  • Proven experience leading a team including coaching, and providing technical support, disciplinary requirements
  • Ability to plan and organize workloads as required
  • High-risk forklift ticket, dogging / rigging highly desirable
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety
  • Current manual drivers license required
