DevSecOps Role Overview

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a deep understanding of security principles and practices, as well as the ability to integrate security into all stages of the infrastructure and software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion Security and Efficiency: Contribute to the integration of security practices throughout the entire infrastructure and software development lifecycle.
  • Automation Specialist: Design and implement automated processes for building, testing, securing, and deploying infrastructure services and applications.
  • Collaborative Team Member: Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to bridge gaps and foster a culture of shared responsibility for security.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor systems and applications for vulnerabilities, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions proactively.

This role requires a strong advocate for security best practices with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks. Additionally, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build relationships and work effectively across teams. A creative and analytical mind is required to troubleshoot complex issues and implement innovative solutions. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a similar role and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
