Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Traveltrain Mechanical Maintainer to join our team based in Bowen Hills. In this role, you will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance, presentation, and repair of Traveltrain rollingstock and associated components and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, efficient, and reliable preventative maintenance of Traveltrain rollingstock and associated components and equipment
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on hydraulic and refrigeration systems, diesel engines, and pneumatics
  • Work on a rotational roster, including day shifts, afternoon shifts, and weekends
Requirements
  • Trades Certificate as a Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Fitter, Fitter/Welder, Motor Mechanic, or equivalent qualification
  • Proven fault-finding experience in diesel engines, hydraulics systems, pneumatics, and refrigeration
  • Strong focus on safety
