This is a Senior Legal Advisor position in the Higher Education sector.

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to join our team and contribute to the delivery of expert legal services across our institution. This role will play a pivotal part in safeguarding our operations and providing timely, practical legal advice on complex matters.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Australian commercial and administrative law, including regulatory frameworks and evolving government policy. They will also have experience in delivering ethical, independent legal advice and drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts.

We are looking for someone with at least five years' post-admission experience as a Solicitor in Australia, with a current unregistered Queensland Law Society Practising Certificate or eligibility to obtain one.

They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely, practical legal advice on complex matters

Required Skills and Qualifications:
