Senior Structural Engineer Job Description

You will be responsible for leading projects across the design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year/packaged work for turnkey projects. This includes ensuring timely and quality delivery of project and structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards.

Effective communication with local clients and stakeholders is crucial as you partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting. A Bachelor to Masters' level degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and typically 6+ years' industry experience on building projects in the commercial, retail, defence, health or education sectors are essential requirements.

The role requires solid proficiency in all-round structural engineering design including post-tensioned concrete, as well as a track record of effective cross-discipline project delivery. Your ability to lead, train and mentor junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects will be critical.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects across the design, delivery and tender phases.

  • Manage effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor to Masters' level degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
