Produce Department Team Lead

We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused individual to lead our produce department team.
This role offers the chance to manage the total operations of the produce department, drive sales growth, and improve profitability by focusing on quality, freshness, and customer service.
- Optimise profitability by effectively managing wages, rostering, controllable expenses, and ensuring employees are coached to exceed sales and KPI targets.
- Lead, recruit, induct, train, supervise, and develop employees within their area of responsibility.
- Administer formal performance management programs to ensure employee success.
- Maintain a culture of compliance with employment policies, including an Employee Code of Conduct.
- Provide exceptional customer service and promote the company's values positively.
- Manage stock control, including ordering, presentation, merchandising, and promotions to meet customer needs.
- Regularly report financial actual versus budget results to stakeholders.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment is maintained at all times.
