About Us

We are a leading provider of services for people with disabilities.

Our mission is to support clients through various services, including VisAbility, Guide Dogs WA and Guide Dogs Tasmania, and Kites Children's Therapy.

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Governance Manager to join our team.

About the Role

The Clinical Governance Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring clinical governance systems, policies, procedures, and processes across the organisation.

This role requires strong leadership and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to vulnerable populations
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical governance systems and processes
  • Liaise and negotiate with stakeholders on clinical governance matters
  • Contribute to organisation-wide governance systems
  • Develop and deliver training programs on clinical governance issues
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes and performance metrics
  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical governance policies, procedures, and processes
  • Work with external agencies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff on clinical governance issues

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical governance, risk management, incident management, and quality improvement
  • Experience in policy and procedure development and implementation
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Able to identify and manage risk, and develop strategies to prevent adverse events
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of computer literacy
