Our client, a leading Government Agency in Canberra, is seeking experienced Systems Solutions and Software Designers to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the maintenance of the Agency's Operations Management System.

The successful candidates will be responsible for producing detailed component specifications, translating designs for implementation, applying software development skills and engineering principles to develop systems for deployable capability, developing comprehensive unit test plans, and supporting design and test evaluation.

Additionally, they will work with the Product Manager and stakeholders to shape system development, lead technical teams to coordinate requirements elicitation, design, and development through the Agency Capability Life Cycle and AGILE framework, communicate complex technical issues clearly, and conduct engineering reviews of developed artefacts.

We are looking for candidates with strong Defence background, Systems Engineering background, Requirements Engineering, Technical Governance, Agile methodology, and experience with Linux OS automation and administration, C#, JavaScript, Python, React, CSS, integrating custom software with third-party APIs, container orchestration, Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Hypervisor platforms, VMWare, Hyper-V.
