Evolve Scientific Recruitment is partnering with a prominent Pharmaceutical Industry leader to find an experienced Microbiology Analyst. This 12-month contract offers opportunities for growth and extension in a dynamic environment.
About the Role
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing microbial plate reading, environmental monitoring, and water testing to ensure product quality standards are met. Key duties include:
- Performing microbial plate reading and identification
- Conducting growth promotion testing of media plates and cassettes
- Burden testing
- Entering results into the Laboratory Information Management System
- Assisting in SOP preparation, review, and update
- Participating in investigations of out-of-specification results
- Maintaining equipment and facilities according to approved procedures
Requirements
To excel in this position, you will need:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in GMP environments with bioburden and endotoxin testing, environmental monitoring
- Knowledge or experience with plate reading and microbial identification
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
Compensation Package
This role offers an estimated salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, reflecting the company's commitment to competitive compensation and benefits packages.
