About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in Southern Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing life-changing therapy to NDIS participants and their families.

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Everyday Independence, you will have the opportunity to work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to community centres and workplaces. You will utilise your assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximising their NDIS funding.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Deemed Behaviour Support Practitioner status by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (letter required)
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, or related field)
  • A positive and flexible approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth
  • Valid Australian driver's license
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
