Senior Accounting Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Senior Manager to join our accounting team.

This role will play a key part in overseeing the growth and development of junior level accountants, while also managing a client list and collaborating with our accounting supervisor and manager group.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical proficiency in tax and consulting engagements, excellent Microsoft Excel skills, and experience as a mentor and coach for junior and graduate accountants.

  • Invest time and knowledge into junior accountants through genuine coaching and mentoring.
  • Manage a client list, including meetings with clients and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with our accounting supervisor and manager group, contributing to the program's success.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to add value or provide additional services to clients.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of public practice accounting experience.
  • Strong technical proficiency in tax and consulting engagements.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and strong Xero skills.
  • Experience as a mentor and coach for junior and graduate accountants.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, earning trust and delivering high-quality service.
  • A collaborative communicator who connects colleagues and shares expertise across the business.
