Manufacturing Engineer Role

About the Job

This role involves working with various teams to break the link between delivered volumes and quality issues, and implementing process improvements by updating work instructions, tooling and material inputs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and solve quality issues within manufacturing processes related to quality notifications.
  • Collaborate with production, supply chain, and quality teams to eradicate quality notifications.
  • Analyze data on components, assemblies, tooling, and manufacturing methods to support root-cause decisions.
  • Implement process improvements via modification of work instructions, tooling, and material inputs.
  • Submit engineering changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a technical or engineering field.
  • Experience with CAD software; comfortable navigating industrial processes.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort with technical challenges.
  • Fluent English.
  • Knowledge of carbon composite materials is an asset.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be based in Burnley, England, United Kingdom.
