Senior Golf Course Professional

The Royal Fremantle Golf Club, located in Western Australia, is seeking an experienced Turf Management Specialist to lead its grounds maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all turf management activities, including landscaping, irrigation and equipment programs, ensuring timely delivery and high standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Develop and implement an annual works program, balancing day-to-day maintenance with long-term objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and equipment safety standards.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Recognised qualification in turf management or a related field, with at least 5 years' experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
  • A proven track record of managing a top-level golf course to consistently high standards.
  • Strong knowledge of agronomy, turf management, and commercial irrigation systems.
