About the Role

This hybrid position requires working at least three days a week in the office. We are looking for an experienced insurance broker with 1-2 years' experience managing SME portfolios of businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a portfolio of key revenue-generating accounts while ensuring high-quality customer service.
  • Develop, pursue, and convert new business opportunities.
  • Grow a commercial portfolio through new logo and organic expanded opportunities.
  • On-board new clients and deliver on our value proposition.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with insurers.
  • Plan and implement effective renewal and broking strategies.
  • Ensure effective account retention and defense strategies are in place for all clients.
  • Actively participate in claim-related matters.
Requirements
  • Ideal candidate has 1-2 years' broking experience.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously within a multi-skilled team.
  • Moderate knowledge of risks and insurance products for key industry sectors.
  • Motivation to self-start, enhanced by time management skills.
  • Capability to identify and address issues through innovative thinking.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite and demonstrated ability to learn systems quickly.
  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking Qualifications or higher.
