Role Summary
As a WHS Business Partner and SMS Specialist, you will play a critical role in strengthening the organisation's safety culture and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Build and Promote a Safety Culture: Develop and implement strategies to foster a proactive, safety-first mindset across the organisation.
- Coach Managers on WHS Risks: Provide expert advice on workplace health and safety risks and controls using the unified risk register.
- Change Safety Mindsets and Behaviours: Lead initiatives to shift organisational cultures and embed safety into everyday operations.
- Develop and Improve WHS Policies: Create and refine policies and systems to ensure they are robust, compliant, and continuously improving.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Perform thorough risk assessments, maintain risk registers, and lead incident investigations using ICAM methodology.
- Minimum 5 Years' Experience: In a senior WHS role with a strong background in safety management.
- ICAM Qualifications: For incident investigation and analysis.
- Tertiary Qualifications: In Health and Safety or a related field.
- Competitive Salary Package: Based on $148,069.48 per annum + Super.
- Flexible Working Arrangements: Options for monthly or fortnightly rostered day off.
