We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner to join our team at Bapcor's Tullamarine Distribution Centre. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees, customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide proactive advice and support to business leaders to ensure alignment with the Group's approach to meeting health and safety obligations.
- Conduct site visits to coach, consult and conduct risk assessments, hazard inspections, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Develop and implement effective health and safety programs to mature the Bapcor culture of keeping each other safe and well.
- Collaborate with the Injury Management Advisor to implement early intervention, injury management and return to work programs.
- Coach team members and people leaders to embrace a culture of reporting and identify robust actions to prevent incidents, hazards and near misses.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Cert IV at a minimum) in Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Significant experience in a health, safety and wellbeing role, focused on maturing capability.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, return to work programs and best practice.
- Excellent consultation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across diverse multi-site businesses.
- Strong customer focus, relationship management and influencing skills.
