This is a dynamic and experienced role for a Product Proposition Manager to lead our Commercial Team in delivering high-quality, personalized services to both members and employers. We have a very engaged membership and are committed to achieving alignment with the fund's vision, member needs, and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Strategy Development: Collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop and execute the product strategy, vision, and roadmap to ensure alignment with the fund's objectives.
  • Business Performance Management: End-to-end ownership of fund financial and growth performance, including owning the profit and loss statement, monitoring revenue, and managing overall cost of product.
  • Investment Menu Ownership: Work closely with the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and investment teams to align product offerings with the fund's investment strategy.
  • Insurance Proposition Enhancement: Review, monitor, and enhance the insurance offer as part of our offering to the market.
  • Product Development Drive: Drive end-to-end product development, ensuring competitive returns and regulatory compliance. Cultivate innovation and continuous improvement by leveraging technology, data analytics, and member feedback to enhance and optimize offerings.
  • Retirement Income Strategy Support: Support the execution of the retirement income strategy by optimizing products and member processes.
  • Market Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of member demographics and behaviors to design targeted product offerings that support a range of retirement goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and competitiveness. Strengthen partnerships with asset managers, consultants, and advisors to drive product development and performance.
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years+ of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong background in product management, particularly in superannuation, investment, or related fields.
  • A proven track record of leading product development initiatives in the superannuation or investment sector, with experience in designing and managing complex financial products.
  • In-depth knowledge of superannuation legislative framework and regulations, investment management practices, and industry trends.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory and financial landscapes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across diverse groups.
  • Experience with financial modelling, product pricing, and performance analytics.
  • Proficiency in using data analytics tools to inform product development and decision-making.
