Main Responsibilities

  • Manage complex credit applications from inception to settlement, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of loan applications, verifying financial information and making sound credit recommendations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert guidance and support throughout the lending journey.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of credit risk policies, regulatory requirements, and responsible lending practices.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell and promote financial products and services, enhancing customer financial wellbeing.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with industry best practices.

About You

  • Extensive experience in managing complex credit applications, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience managing the full end-to-end loan application process.
  • Relevant certifications, such as FSR Tier 2 – RG146 accreditation and Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, are essential.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk, regulatory compliance, and responsible lending practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of industry best practices.
