The Director Operations role is a key position within the senior leadership team, responsible for overseeing the Commission's operations and ensuring effective strategic planning.
- Lead a high-performing team across multiple disciplines, driving operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement complex legislative and policy changes to enhance the Commission's statutory obligations and functions.
- Create and manage practice systems and processes required for efficient strategic and operational planning.
- Establish and maintain the Commission's performance framework, including data management systems for analysis and reporting.
- Monitor and improve policies, procedures, work practices, and management systems to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Oversee operational management across human resources, infrastructure, workplace health and safety, risk, and information technology.
- Develop an engagement strategy to educate stakeholders on the Commission's role and activities.
- Manage corporate services and projects to support the Commission's operations.
- Provide expert operational advice on the Commissioner's functions and statutory responsibilities.
- Senior-level experience in providing strategic advice, government policy reform, and performance delivery.
- Leadership experience with teams and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in operational management, regulation, and governance.
