Research Infrastructure Lead

This is a visionary role that drives the development of cutting-edge research infrastructure. The successful candidate will lead a transformative project that supports climate action through data-driven innovation in transport and urban planning.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in data science, spatial analysis, and infrastructure for climate or urban research. A strong track record of stakeholder engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the strategic planning, coordination, and delivery of a major research project.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement with government agencies, academic partners, and platform providers.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, interoperable infrastructure aligned with research systems.
  • Guide the development of analytical tools and data integration strategies to support climate-related decision-making.
Requirements:
  • A PhD in urban planning, data science, geography, transport, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership in complex research infrastructure or data platform projects.
  • Expertise in data science, spatial analysis, and infrastructure for climate or urban research.
  • A strong track record of stakeholder engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration.
