Job Opportunity for Registered Nurses in the Outback

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team in a unique fly-in/fly-out rural and remote nursing opportunity in Coober Pedy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess individual patient/client needs and plan, implement, and coordinate appropriate service delivery, collaborating with other disciplines or agencies as needed.
  • Provide direct, person-centered nursing/midwifery care and individual case management to patients/clients in a defined clinical area, gradually increasing autonomy over time.
  • Plan and coordinate services with other disciplines or agencies to address individual health care needs.
  • Within established guidelines, assess clients in a multidisciplinary primary health care setting, select and implement therapeutic interventions and support programs, and evaluate progress.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of full-time equivalent experience as a Registered Nurse/Midwife, be registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and demonstrate competence in relevant nursing or midwifery practice.
