Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Maternal Care Specialist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our obstetric services, you will provide exceptional care to women with low-risk pregnancies, working collaboratively with obstetricians and midwives to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in deliveries, perform vaginal examinations, and conduct routine medical procedures such as injections and suturing.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, fostering strong relationships and promoting positive outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.

Requirements:

  • Must be registered as a doctor in Australia and hold a recognized medical qualification (e.g. MBBS or equivalent).
  • Have completed internship and been exposed to obstetrics during that time.
  • Be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
