About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Team Leader to support and develop a team of passionate community workers who provide in-home care services to the elderly in Perth and regional areas.

As a Team Leader, you will provide coaching, ongoing support, and direction to a geographically dispersed team, aiming to achieve exceptional customer service. You will be the daily point of contact for the team, conduct interviews and inductions for new care workers, manage team and individual performance, and drive safety initiatives.

You will also manage payroll and other administrative tasks, ensure compliance targets are met, and handle customer escalations with support from the management team. When not with your team, you will work from home as required.

About you:

  • Proven experience in team leadership, supporting large teams in community, call centre, retail, hospitality, or similar industries.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, communicate with empathy while maintaining professional boundaries with your team.
  • Previous experience in the Community/Aged Care industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong passion for compliance and achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching, having difficult conversations, and performance managing frontline teams.
  • Stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in Leadership and Training and Assessment are desirable.
