NSW Health Pathology seeks a Technical Assistant for a permanent Part-time role at Bowral District Hospital.

The laboratory services the Wingecarribee shire and surrounding areas via outpatient services along with the adjacent Bowral and Southern Highlands Hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform laboratory support, specimen reception, and collection services, and provide assistance to laboratory staff under supervision to deliver patient-focused care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A working knowledge of the laboratory environment relevant to the Department is essential. Demonstrated customer service experience and skills, preferably in a laboratory setting, including effective communication with customers, patients, and clinical staff are required.

Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy are also necessary.

Requirements for Employment:

Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency is required for employment.

Eligibility for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health requires an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.
