Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Medical Laboratory Assistant in a dynamic team. The successful applicant will assist laboratory staff with various tasks, including specimen reception and collection services, while maintaining high-quality work output and providing excellent customer service.

The role involves performing laboratory support and/or specimen reception services and/or collection services under supervision. You will also assist laboratory staff in delivering a patient-focused service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing laboratory support and/or specimen reception services and/or collection services under supervision.
  • Assisting laboratory staff in delivering a patient-focused service.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of all aspects of the laboratory environment relevant to the department.
  • Providing excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Being aware of legislation, policies, and requirements relevant to a laboratory setting.
