Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate front and back of house restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and efficient kitchen management.
  • Engage with customers to resolve concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Regularly review product quality and standards to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Ensure that company policies, procedures, and values are upheld by all employees.
  • Organize and allocate shifts for employees, ensuring adequate staffing levels and effective team management.
  • Appraise employee performance and provide constructive feedback to improve workplace productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Promote the hotel/restaurant name and brand through word-of-mouth and restaurant events, fostering a positive reputation and increasing customer loyalty.
  • Maintain operational costs and expenses, ensuring efficient resource allocation and minimizing waste.
  • Liaise with owners, head-chef, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • At least three years of previous restaurant management experience, or equivalent experience in a related field such as catering or hospitality management.
  • Certificate IV in hospitality or relevant qualifications in management, such as hospitality management, marketing, or event management.
  • Strong focus on effective and efficient customer service, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Punctuality, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively as a team to achieve goals.
  • Access to reliable transportation, with a valid driver's license.
