Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Uniting. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to our elderly clients, empowering them to maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily living tasks, including housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
- Provide transportation for clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities.
- Offer personal care support, including assistance with personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, meal assistance, and medication administration.
- Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred, but not essential.
- Empathy and resourcefulness are essential qualities for this role, as you will be working with clients who may have complex needs.
- Flexibility is key, as you will need to accommodate the evolving needs and schedules of our clients.
- A valid Australian driver's license and access to a comprehensively insured, reliable vehicle are required.
- A Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
