Financial Skills Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Financial Skills Development Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting consumers to build long-term financial capability.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about financial literacy and has excellent communication skills. As a Financial Skills Development Specialist, you will be responsible for providing financial education, one-on-one support, and coaching to individuals experiencing financial hardship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial literacy education to consumers, helping them to budget effectively, manage their money, and make informed financial decisions.
  • Offer one-on-one support and coaching to individuals, empowering them to take control of their financial lives.
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a Certificate IV in Community Service Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative and/or intake roles, with a strong understanding of financial literacy principles.
  • The ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
