About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reservations Sales Agent to join our team. As a key member of our reservations team, you will be responsible for handling sales inquiries, processing bookings, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle sales inquiries by engaging with customers via phone and email to address inquiries and process reservations with care.
  • Ensure thorough bookings by collecting and verifying all necessary guest information to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor reservation systems to update guest details, payment information, and arrival/departure schedules promptly.
  • Coordinate with operational departments to ensure smooth guest experiences by effectively communicating reservation details.
  • Upsell services by recommending accommodations and on-island activities to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Reservation Team Leader, Revenue Manager, Sales & Marketing, and resort team to optimize booking processes and guest experiences.
  • Prepare for guest arrivals by conducting pre-arrival checks and preparing detailed handover files.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience in a similar role as a Reservation Sales Agent/Customer service role.
  • Experience with Opera property management system required.
  • Experience working in a luxury 5-star hotel is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and strong data entry experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and/or Call Centre experience.
  • Well-developed knowledge of the Hospitality & Tourism industry and distribution channels.
