We are seeking a skilled Horticulturist to undertake routine maintenance works in Council controlled parks and reserves.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating front deck mowers, Zero Turn Mowers and Push Mowers, as well as performing prestart checks on daily equipment.

Maintaining lawns and green spaces to a high standard is essential for this role.

Responsibilities include completing horticultural tasks as required based on our contract and following safety protocols and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need experience in Horticulture, lawn care and maintenance, with qualifications preferred.

You will also require the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain and sun.

A strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards are essential.

Additionally, you will need to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Ride on Mower experience on Council Controlled sites is highly regarded.

  • Experience in Horticulture, lawn care and maintenance (qualifications preferred)
