About the Lawn Maintenance Role

We are seeking an experienced Lawn Care Professional to undertake routine maintenance works in public spaces. As a key member of our horticulture team, you will be responsible for ensuring lawns and green spaces are well-maintained.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has a keen eye for detail. You will have the chance to demonstrate your skills in a collaborative environment and work with industry-leading resources.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of lawns and green spaces using various equipment
  • Routine prestart checks on daily equipment
  • Mowing, edging, and trimming services as required
  • Horticultural tasks including pruning and weeding
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures

Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in lawn care, gardening, and maintenance
  • Qualifications or knowledge of horticulture practices preferred
  • A willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently
  • The ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Prior experience with ride-on mowers on council-controlled sites highly regarded
  • A valid White Card and Working with Children check (or willingness to obtain)
  • A willingness to undergo a National Police Check
