Financial Recovery and Day-to-Day Execution Professional

We are seeking a skilled Financial Recovery and Day-to-Day Execution professional to join our team. As a key member of our financial team, you will play a critical role in our company's financial recovery and day-to-day execution.

This hybrid role blends hands-on financial management with senior accounting responsibilities, supporting the external Controller/CFO, reviewing internally prepared financials, and answering operational questions about them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare & maintain month-end financial statements
  • Updating/maintaining accurate rolling 13-week cash forecasts
  • Process payables and receivables in the company?s ERP and Accounting system with speed and accuracy
  • Post and reconcile daily bank and credit card transactions
  • Help clean up customer/vendor data to improve accuracy
  • Support payroll processing and reconcile CRA remittances
  • Track and support our inventory and rental asset entries
  • Generate weekly AR and AP reports to help guide cash decisions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years full-cycle bookkeeping experience (QBO required)
  • Capable of updating/maintaining accurate rolling 13-week cash forecasts
  • Detail-obsessed, deadline-respecting mindset
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort with accounting tech
  • Experience in dealership, construction, or equipment industry preferred
  • Familiar with Ideal, Dealer Management Systems, or rental modules? Huge plus
