Infrastructure Engineer - Data Centers

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in designing, building, and operating large-scale data center infrastructure. This is a hands-on role where you will deploy and configure servers, storage, and networking hardware at scale, manage complex systems from edge to core, and respond to live production issues.

The technical bar for this position is high, requiring direct experience with large-scale datacenter operations, mission-critical systems, and enterprise-level network architecture. You will work closely with engineering and research teams to ensure compute resources meet their requirements and contribute to shaping the future of AI infrastructure design and deployment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deploying and configuring production servers, storage, and networking infrastructure
  • Designing, implementing, and operating large-scale networking (routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing)
  • Administering Linux systems across clusters, ensuring OS-level performance and stability
  • Monitoring system health, responding to incidents, and managing downtime and recovery
  • Implementing best practices for availability, redundancy, and security
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate compute resources into production environments

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Formal qualifications and industry certifications in datacenter operations, systems administration, or networking
  • 5+ years of experience operating large-scale datacenter environments
  • Strong expertise in large-scale networking and security
  • Proven Linux systems administration experience across distributed clusters
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with GPU clusters, HPC, or large-scale compute systems
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Slurm, or other cluster schedulers
  • Knowledge of InfiniBand, RDMA, or other high-performance networking technologies
