Treasurer Job Description

This is a volunteer role for an experienced treasurer to manage the financial aspects of our organization.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Ensure timely payments to creditors and reimbursement of expenses
  • Oversee the security of all financial documents
  • Prepare regular financial reports for committee meetings

The ideal candidate will have experience with bookkeeping, GST reporting, and accounting software such as Xero.

Familiarity with wildlife rehabilitation is not necessary but a willingness to learn is appreciated.

Flexibility in scheduling is required with a preference for day shifts.
