Airport Operations Manager

As a Cleaning Services Manager, you will oversee the operational management of an airport's International Terminal to ensure efficient delivery of cleaning contracts.

This role requires a 5-day workweek with an 8 am - 4 pm shift pattern.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Organise and control site operations for efficient contract delivery
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and staff
  • Build strong relationships with airport stakeholders
  • Manage cleaning staff rosters in conjunction with a Roster Coordinator
  • Prepare safety and operational audits
  • Provide regular machinery assessments
  • Manage site Subcontractors and arrange periodical work
  • Create and sustain a safe and productive environment
  • Lead and develop the on-site team: Senior Team Leaders and Cleaning Team members
  • Prepare regular reports and analysis of business achievements and targets

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Commercial cleaning experience with multiple equipment types
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience with performance management
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Positive customer service orientation and stakeholder engagement
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and tertiary education (preferred)
