**Airport Operations Leader Role**

The Airport Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, secure, and reliable operation of airport services.

This leadership position oversees all aspects of flight operations, including customer services, ramp and baggage handling, operations, catering, security, and premium services.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage and integrate various areas of flight operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Direct and monitor procedures to guarantee efficient aircraft turnaround activities.
  • Assign and delegate responsibility for specified work or functional activities and disseminate policies to supervisors.
  • Resolve service and operational issues escalated by the supervisor and team lead work groups.

**Collaboration and Communication**

  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Ensure company standards of safety and quality are consistently maintained, fostering continuous improvement to elevate performance and service delivery outcomes.

**Strategic Goals**

  • Take overall responsibility for meeting strategic goals in operational performance and cost control.
  • Negotiate on behalf of the airline with contractors, suppliers, and airport authorities.
  • Develop and build team engagement and team capability to improve team performance.

**Station Management**

  • Responsible for the preparation, monitoring, and control of the station operating plan.
  • Deal with a wide range of issues that arise during daily operations and address negative performance with relevant teams and stakeholder groups.

**Employee Support**

  • Support employee hire, promotion, discharge, or other HR-related matters.
